Sean followed Amy on to the dance floor nervously since he never danced. Especially with a girl. He turned to Amy and put his arms around Amy's waist and started moving slowly. Whenever he put his foot down he did it slowly because he did not want to step on her feet. He then looked in to her eyes and noticed she already was doing that.

[Alex Keene]

Alex was feeling awkwardly strange to be in the ball. Everyone seemed to have a group of people they talk to and he was left sitting in one corner trying to decide whether he should start talking to someone or asking someone to dance.

Eliana saw another first year boy sitting alone in a corner. Seeing as she too, was now left standing by herself near the refreshments table, she walked over to him, smiling. "Hey, we haven't met. I'm Eliana." She said. "But you can call me Eli."

[Alex Keene]

Alex picked up his face when he heard someone was talking to him, he was staring at the ground for the longest time, studying his shoes. "Alex, Alex Keene." He introduced himself quickly.

Not too long into the dance she noticed Seth walk in and put his back to the dance floor. Siva looked at Jay and asked, "Is there a reason you don't like Seth?"

Oh,no. Not this, why now? He wondered what would cause her to ask, then he saw. Seth had just walked in the dance, he could help but smile at the fact that he had his back to them. Jay looked at Siva, "Nobody is good enough for you. Thats why." he replied. What he said was the truth he just left another reason out of the picture.

Siva smiled and laid her head on his chest. Once the song ended she backed away from him. She pulled some hair out of her hair, "Are you going to stick around?" she asked. "Maybe I could steal another dance from you?" she asked.

[Amy Lawrence]

Amy looked down at her feet, her feet were moving more gracefully than she thought, making her grateful that she didn't have to worry about stepping on Sean's toes. Amy gave a gentle smile to hide her nerves, but her emerald eyes showed that she was more nervous than appeared. "You look good tonight, Sean," Amy exclaimed, trying to ease the tension a little.

"Thanks. You too." Sean said gracefully cheering up a bit. He returned the smile softly. He was enjoying it a lot but still nervous since he did not know if he was dancing right. "Am I dancing right? I never have danced at all." He felt a little ashamed saying that but it had to be done.

[Ruby Harris]

Finally! They're leaving the dance floor. Ruby began to straighten up her hair hoping she still looked ok.

Jay hated that this time had come, but he was glad to here that it was possible that he could get another dance in later. "I'll be sure to leave you one." he said with a smile. He walked off the floor looking at Ruby who seemed to be fixing her hair. "Hey Ruby." he greeted has he took a seat next to her.

[Ruby Harris]

Ruby put her elbows on the table trying to make a cute innocent pose has jay approached. She didn't care if she looked stupid to others. The point was that Jay noticed her, there was something about older guys....

She almost blushed when Jay greeted her. "Hi." she replied with a smile. She sat back in her seat has he took a seat next to her. She couldn't believe it, what should I say? "Uh, Are you having fun?" she asked awkwardly. Hopefully she wasn't coming off has a stupid little girl.

Amy blushed after the comment was made to her. She kept dancing as if the night would never end. "Am I dancing right? I have never danced at all."[/b] Sean said to her. Amy looked a little confused and replied, "Perfect, I couldn't ask for better." Amy smiled, she wasn't lying when she said this, Sean was dancing perfect to her, no matter what anyone else thought. Amy then bit her lower lip and whispered into Sean's ear, "I've never danced before either." She too was ashamed to admit it, but if he opened to her, she might as well do the same. [/color][/font]

Siva stood on the dance floor watching Jay walk away. She wondered what he could be thinking. She walked off the dance floor, walking up right behind Seth. She walked up on his right and whispered in his ear, "Hey handsome." she said smoothly. She took a seat next to him and put her head on his shoulder, "How have you been?"

Laila danced slowly with Jordan for several more minutes before the song ended. She pulled away and looked at him, smiling from ear to ear. "Now that wasn't such a bad dance," she said, "I mean, neither of us tripped up or anything." Laila started to blush, "Not that I thought you would trip up...I was just...I'll stop talking now."

Seth was beginning to think that Siva was going to continue to dance. He began to think of why he liked her. There was something about her that he liked. When she whispered in his ear he found a reason. He turned in shock, she sounded so sexy. For once he was nervous, "You look....fantastic." he said softly has he got a good look at her.

"Thanks", Sean replied shyly. "I always thought every girl has already danced before." Sean closed his eyes and sighed. He opened them again and heard the song end. He backed away from her and told her "Well, that was fun."He walked away and headed for the punch bowl. He took a cup and started drinking some punch.
