Afternoon class weren't her favorite, especially today. Walking into the greenhouse that connected to the classroom she waved her hand and a fan started ventilating the room. Today they would be working with a very interesting product and this could get smelly. Making sure everything was in place Aurora left the room and entered the classroom closing the door behind her. Walking to the front she took a seat and checked her watch. Looking to the front door it slowly opened. Now was time for organization. She began to sort through her papers and filing them away in the desk. All of this only made her think of her own desk back in her office that needs cleaning.

Seth was wondering around the school grounds when he realized how close it was to his next class. He was growing nervous about this weekend. If Siva had received his owl they would have their first date. But now he was stuck going to classes and seeing her but not being able to talk to her. Walking up to the greenhouse he opened the door to see that he was first to class. Taking a seat in the middle he settled in and waited. Every time he thought he heard something he looked toward the door and hoped that it was Siva. He just wanted to talk to her before the date.

The only thing that could make this day better was if he didn't have to go to class. It was a nice day outside and all Jordan wanted to was hang out around the school grounds. Unfortunately he had to go to Herbology. He was hoping since it was the first day of class that it would be a short class. Dragging his butt to class he walked in to see only the slytherin guy there. The only reason he never talked to the guy was because he looked so uninviting. He always looked like he wanted to be left alone. Picking a seat a couple of rows back he goth is things out quietly. Walking a across the school grounds on such a nice day did bum Isis out. She would rather enjoy the good days while the lasted. Opening the door to the greenhouse she saw that there was only two guys there. Now was the moment of truth. She could either introduce her self to that guy again or avoid him forever. Approaching the ravenclaw cautiously she was very nervous. "Hey. Mind if I sit here?" she asked. Well, she didn't really care if he said yes or no. She figured he would mind since he had already tried and talked to her in another class. "I'm Isis by the way. Couldn't remember if we ever formally introduced ourselves." she laughed nervously has she took a seat.

Herbology was his least favorite of classes. It was just some stupid class about plants. Jay liked the challenge of spell casting. Making his way to the greenhouse he was trying to remain positive about the class. Maybe it would be so boring. Maybe it will be a quick class! Probably not. Opening the door there was a small group of people there. Spotting Jordan he took a seat in the row behind him. "Hey Jordan." he greeted taking a seat.

Finishing up some last minute organizing Aurora was finally ready to move on with her day. Setting a stack of papers to the side she stood up and walked around to face her class. "Attention students!" she said calmly but loud enough for everyone to hear. "Welcome back to Hogwarts for another term. It's good to see all of your faces here again." she smiled looking over all the students in the room. "Today we will be going over dragon dung compost. You'll need to get some paper and a quill to take some notes and then we will move onto the greenhouse once we are done. Moving to the side she got out her wand and tapped the board. Has she spoke words appeared on the board so that the students could take notes.
"Dragon dung compost is exactly what you think it is. It is dragon poop.Dragons, being creatures of fire, have natural controlled fires burning within them to generate and to help aid in their digestion. Due to the intense heat within the dragon's digestive tract and dung that passes through will be distilled and concentrated several times making the concentration of the elements such as, nitrogen, phosphorus, and sulfur. With the high concentration of the elements it make for a good fertilizer. The massive amounts of heat helps the plant grow faster. Plants flourish in sunlight because they absorb the heat from the suns' rays. The dung acts as the plants personal sun warming the plant up enough for it to carry out photosynthesis."
"Today in the green house I have a small amount of dragon dung set to the side. You will be planting your own muggle plants and if you wish you can keep them when they have grown up. So if you will follow me into the next room. And don't worry the smell for the dragon dung isn't to toxic today. This particular dung has had some time to cool but it is still very warm. If you will pick a spot out I have lined the tables with pots, gloves and there are packets of seeds lying around." Walking over to the door she opened it and waited for her students to enter. She continued only when everyone was in place.
"Now, everyone needs to put on a pair of gloves that is provided for you. In the center of the table you will see a pile of dung. Just grab a small scoop and line the bottom of the pot. Then you can pick out the seed of the plant you wish to grow, I have chosen sunflower seeds. Place a couple of seeds in the pot on top of the soil. Then grab another handful of dung and pat the top of the seeds with the dung. Once you have filled the rest of the pot with the dung soil you will need to water the plant. Then you will label the plant and place them over there on the shelf marked for 4th and 5th years. Any questions? You may begin and when you are done please clean up before you leave." Putting her plant over on the shelf she began to watch has her students got to work.

Siva slipped into class just as the class was starting. That made this the second time that she just barely made it to class. Taking a seat next to Jay she got out her things and began taking notes on the days topic. She hope today would only be a note taking day but she soon found out that hey would be using the dragon dung compost to plant some flowers. Finishing up her notes she packed her bag before going into the greenhouse. She picked a spot on the other side of the room and looked over the seeds that were laid out in front of her. Setting a packet to the side she watched the professor before starting. Putting on the gloves she grabbed an empty pot and placed it in front of her. Scrunching her face she grabbed a handful of dung. She was just glad it wasn't still warm or sticky. It actually felt like normal soil only warm and not clumped. Dropping a layer in the pot she opened her bag of seeds into the pot. She had picked out some pink tiger lilies for her plant. She thought they were such cute flowers. Packing down some soil on top of the seeds she watered the soil then labeled her pot. Placing it on the top shelf she began to clean up her area. Looking around she was seeing if Seth was almost done so that they could talk for a moment. Once her space was clean she went into the classroom and gathered her things but made sure to wait for Seth.

Jordan nodded when Isis asked if she could sit next to him. "I'm Jordan. Nice to meet you Isis." he smiled. Finally class had started and he got out some paper and a quill and took detailed notes. He didn't like the idea of handling poop but it looked like he didn't have a choice. Entering the greenhouse he frowned at the big heap of crap in the middle of the table. Picking out a station close to the door he looked around a the seeds. Looking at the professor he watching as she potted some sunflowers. Groaning he put on the gloves and got to work. Grabbing a handful of the compost he could feel some warmth from it. Throwing a little layer in the pot he looked around at the seeds that they could choose from. Grabbing some form the packet labeled 'tulips' he spread them out over the soil. Grabbing another handful he filled the rest of the pot with soil before watering the plant. Jordan wrote his name of the pot then set it on the shelf next to Siva's then cleaned up his station before leaving.

Hearing that they would be learning about dragon dung compost Seth was all frowns. He never really card for herbology and this lesson wasn't going to change his mind. Taking notes he made sure to get every detail possible while it appeared on the board behind the professor. Once the note taking part was over he put his supplies up before moving on to the greenhouse. He choose a spot across from Siva and watched has the professor demonstrated the task for the day. I twas pretty simple he thought. Grabbing gloves he slid them one and grabbed a empty pot. Grabbing a handful of compost he dumped it in the pot before looking around the table. He knew nothing about flowers so this part was a little weird. He knew that it wasn't something he would want to later keep so he picked something colorful that he could possible give away later. He grabbed a packet of gerber daisies and laid out the seeds on the soil before he covered them up with more compost. After watering the plant he label the pot and set the pot on the shelf that was set aside fore the class. Cleaning up his area he noticed that Siva was headed out of the door and that he could still catch up to her. Once hie area was clean he removed the gloves and exited the greenhouse. In the classroom there she was standing there waiting. "Hey Siva." His mind went blank for a minute and he was standing there for a moment just staring at her. "Uh, yeah so, I wanted to know if you could meet me before dinner tonight. There was something wanted to show you." He tried to keep his voice down so that no one could hear his plan. "Just meet me in front of the slytherin common room."

Jay wasn't too excited about today's lesson. And from the look of it everyone else felt the same. Jotting down the notes that appeared on the board Jay got up and followed the rest of the greenhouse. Picking a station next to Siva he label his pot before he got started. He slid the gloves on before he grabbed a pile of compost and patted it down to make a bottom layer of the pot. he looked around at the packets of seeds for a moment before picking a random packet of violets to plant. He laid out the seeds the grabbed another handful to pat over the seeds. Once the seeds were covered he watered the sol and place it on the shelf with everyone else. He started to clean up his area and noticed Seth go out after Siva. He had no clue what was going on with Siva lately but he was sure that she would let him know eventually.
