It's Time [closed]

[Siva Tucker]

Siva waked along the path with Jay and Jordan as the night grew darker. Turning down a path after Jay she stayed close with her wand in hand. Looking around at the hedges she saw that they were moving. They weren't green anymore which worried her. It was all black and the next thing she knew all she could hear were the shrieking of these creatures surrounding her. She tried to cover her face and in the process ended up dropping her wand. She was on the ground trying to search for it while protecting herself when she heard someone yell and a bright light. Everything around her had stop in mid-air. She looked around to see if the guys were ok. "I'm ok. I dropped my wand through." she informed them. She could feel a slight breeze come form the path they were walking as she felt on the ground for her wand. It didn't help that there were all of these floating animals around. "Found it. Lumos" Her wand lit up and she shined it over to Jay then Jordan. "We should get going. Don't know how long the spell will last." Siva got up and continued down the path wand in front of her.

[Jordan Lane]

Jordan's heart was racing while he stood there frozen in the moment. He couldn't believe that it actually work. " Lumos. " Shining his wand in Siva's direction he began to walk over to the two of them looking out for Siva's wand. Once she found it he looked around him and he finally could see the amount of animals that had surrounded them. It was a lot of them but he still didn't know what the heck they were. Some sort of bat he guessed. He was just glad that it wasn't something that could cause them lethal harm. He was brought back to reality when he heard Siva speak. Agreeing with her he moved on along down the path with Jay and Siva. Coming to another split he looked around for a second. "The right." he suggested then started to go down the path. The only issue with this whole maze thing was how quiet it was. It was unsettling to him. He just got the feeling that he could be attacked at any time. Coming to another break he exhaled and waited a moment for the other two. They could keep going straight or to the left. Something caught his attention on the left path. Shining his wand down the path he didn't see anything. He took a couple of steps down the left path before stopping. It was something really close to the ground but he just missed it. [/size]

It felt like he was being attacked for hours. In reality it probably last a couple of minutes and he was glad Jordan thought of the spell. He swatted at some of the animals out of frustration for a moment then backed up and leaned against hedge. Taking a coupe of deep breaths he pointed his wand toward his left arm. It was a little cut up but it wasn't so bad. "Thanks Jordan." Jay looked over in their direction and waited for Siva to find her wand. Once located they continued. Hopefully the spell would hold long enough for them to get away and hopefully they wouldn't be able to follow them. Letting Jordan and Siva go in front for a moment he followed the path until the split. He paused with them and looked from Siva to Jordan. When Jordan looked off Jay looked down the path as well. But he noticed that his wand wasn't pointed straight ahead. Looking down he assumed that Jordan must of saw something there but he didn't see anything. Waling up to his side he walked on down the path. Night as well he figured.

Following the path they came up on a right and Siva followed along quietly. Her mind, not so much. Her mind was a buzz with questions. What next? What if they couldn't defeat the next obstacle? She was starting the regret not doing some sort of research on the maze. Where exactly would you get such research anyway? Siva took in a deep breath and exhaled slowly and as quietly has possible. They came onto another split and Jordan veered off to the left. Following along she too looked to see what he was looking at but, nothing was there. With Jay taking off she walked past Jordan but she did have an uneasy feeling. She took a couple of steps past him then stopped to turn around. Shining her wand in his direction she wanted to make sure he was following them since he hadn't said a word.

Jordan stared at the ground a little longer before snapping out of it. Looking up Siva was looking at him. He was sure that she thought he was crazy. Moving along he started down the path again. He didn't make it too far unfortunately. The next thing he knew there was something wrapped around his right foot and he fell hard on his face. The pain in his jaw made him turn on his back. He grabbed his face trying to make sure he was ok. It was then he realized that this thing was puling him away from where he fell and whatever tripped him was now wrapped around his knees. Looking above his head he tried to reach for his wand but it was too far. Grabbing the grass he started to yell, "Hey! Hey! Help!" he could only see that backs of Siva and Jay but he continued to yell and hoped that they could hear him.

Siva glanced back a Jordan for a minute before waling on. This trip to the maze was more difficult than she had imagined. She heard all the rumors of it testing you the closer you got to the middle but she had no idea. She smiled at Jordan before turning back to the path. All that was on her mind now was, what next? She heard a large thud behind her and she froze. Next thing she knew Jordan was screaming out. Turning around she saw his wand on the ground only he wasn't holding on to it. "Jay!" she yelled running toward the wand pointing her wand at the ground she saw some grass torn from the ground and she followed them to the struggling Jordan. "What?" she was almost speechless and had no clue what to do. 'What the hell was that?' she thought. Whatever it was it was getting stronger and wrapping him up in its vines. Shining her wand on him she saw that it recoiled a little and then it hit her. 'Nox.' Lights out but only for a few seconds. "Lumos Solem!" Siva closed her eyes trying to imagine the most brightest light, no, the sun shining from her wand bright has day on the vines. She opened her eyes a little to see this bright light shine for a while before going away. Looking down she couldn't see to well so she called out, 'Jordan? Are you all right?" Sooner her eyes would readjust. Hopefully this thing was gone.

Since Jay was in the front he was the last to know in this situations. It always made him feel useless at times too. When he heard Jordan he turned quickly and followed Siva. Wasn't he right behind him? Whatever this thing was it dragged Jordan a good 5 feet he thought. By the time the caught up it looked bad. This thing managed to wrap itself around his legs. With his wand pointed at his legs his mind went blank. "What the hell?!" His mind drew a blank. Looking to Siva he saw that she was getting ready to perform a spell. Looking away he saw a big flash of light that was so bright he was blind for a moment. He had to blink a few times until he could see again. Looking down there as a spot flashing in the corner of his eyes but he could see that whatever it was had unwrapped itself from Jordan's legs. "Are you ok Jordan?" he asked extending a hand to help him up. "What was that?" he asked looking toward Siva. At the moment his was the only wand illuminated so he could only see so far in front and around him.

Panic set in his mind and all he could think of was getting out of this mess. The vines grew tighter and stronger around his legs. He tried to free his hands but only ended up with the vines around his hands. He grunted in frustration when he saw Siva's light from her wand go out. He knew she was going to do something just not sure what. He closed his eyes and waited trying to relax but it was a little difficult considering that this thing was trying to kill him. Whatever the spell it was really bright and he kept his eyes closed tight. Once his hands were free he shielded his face. He felt the vines loosen before letting go completely. Once he felt the brightness fade he slowly opened his eyes. He couldn't really see well at first. It was a distortion of colors but soon they would fade. He wasn't even sure that he was facing Siva and Jay at the moment when he thanked them. "Thanks." Has his vision cleared he looked down at his legs where there were cuts on his jeans. Exhaling he stumbled trying to stand up. Facing Jay and Siva he asked, "You see where my wand went?" He looked around on the ground for it but it was a little hard to see with only one wand lit. Once they found it, it was probably a good idea to keep on moving.

Siva's heart was racing. Her eyes were closed during the spell so that she could see once it was over. There was still bright spots in front of her but she could make out Jordan in the darkness. "Devil's snare" she said answering Jay's question. Crouching down she asked, "Are you all right?" Then she realized how dark it was. "Lumos" She pointed her wand at the ground so that it wasn't shinning in any ones face. Once her vision cleared up she looked around for his wand and found it a few feet away. She walked over and grabbed it then handed it to Jordan once he was standing up. "Here. Not to be a pain but we should get going before that thing comes back. But, only if you are ok to go Jordan." She didn't want to seem insensitive but they were getting close. She could feel it and they need to move.

Taking the lead she turned and continued down the path. There was another path break and she quickly choose the one to the right. She began down that path wand in front. Now it was really dark and she was sure that it was past curfew now. There was a gust of wind that blew from behind them which cause her hair to whip in her face. She gripped her wand and looked back to make sure that the guys were still with her and that nothing was coming their way. Turning back she saw that this path was connected to another break, three ways. Out in front she could see what she thought was the center with a shiny little trophy. "Is that what I think it is?" she asked. "Or am I going crazy?" She started down the path that was straight ahead. This was too good to be true.
