Finally a place worth exploring

So, this was it...

For the longest time Siva was very interested in trying to find this place. She had heard rumors about the tunnel under the school. She once heard that it was once used has some sort of magical obstacle course. And that there was an exit that led outdoors. Where, she did not know but she was determined to get to the bottom of this mystery tunnel. Heading down the set of stairs to the dungeons her mind was filled with what she would do to find her way back in case she found nothing. Looking at her watch it was half past 10. Wearing jeans and a plain dark blue t-shirt she made her way silently down until she reached the bottom. Tucked in her right pocket was her wand, the handle stuck out ready for a quick draw if it should come to that. Had it not been for the full moon she was sure that it would have been pitch black in most of the halls. Every now and then along the path was a tiny window that would let in enough light just to make out the floor and maybe a couple of feet around it.

This wasn't going to do. Taking her wand out she looked around before lighting her wand. "Lumos" Siva whispered softly. She made sure that she wasn't too loud, she didn't want to get caught. Having her wand point at the floor it lit up the small area around her. Good. This would be just enough light. Setting her hand to point a up a little from the floor she made her way through the halls. She made sure not to get distracted by the old rooms which were probably filled with various contraptions for students that had to be disciplined. After going round a couple of corners she had almost given up. At what seemed to be a dead end Siva stopped for a moment leaning against the wall. Slowly she could hear what sounded like bricks moving. Turning her wand to the area she saw to her right a tiny passage had opened.

Looking through there was a set of steps ,no more than five, down. Taking deep breath she made her way down then to the left to find a door. With a rather old handle she turned the knob and slowly opened. Immediately she felt a small draft. Sticking her wand out in front of her she peeped in before walking through. This room was a little big but had three separate paths that branched out. Looking around an grin appeared on her face. Siva was ready and excited. She couldn't believe that she found it! Now where to go? Taking a few steps forward she decide on straight ahead making her way down the first of hopefully many halls.

Having just come back from home Jay was settled in at Hogwarts. having not seen anyone he knew in the common rooms he decided to go exploring. The dungeons was on of his favorite places to walk around. It was dark and there were plenty of rooms where you could find old detention methods. And he wasn't quite done with exploring there. Heading down the steps he looked to make sure no one was in site. Stepping quickly he moved to he end of the corridor and down the steps again before reaching the bottom. Has his feet it the floor he was now submerged in the darkness. Grabbing his wand he was ready to do a good bit of snooping.

Wand in front he walked in the darkness. Just ahead was a spot of light from on of the very small windows in the hall. taking a left he headed around rather quickly and to the right. Jay's mind was buzzing with what he was looking for. The last time he was here he did remember a room with at cage front and center. It had to be one of the old rooms but where exactly was it. Coming to the end of the hall he did see a room but upon inquiring it wasn't what he wanted to see. In the room was a desk and chair which he did think was odd. Who would want and office down here?

Walking around the room he found on the far right side of the room a handle on the floor. Blowing on the rather dusting handle he bent down to open the door to see a set of steps. Smirking he went down has he was glad to find the secret passage. Shutting the door he entered to room. It was just plain bare walls with a door. Grabbing the handle he turned it slowly has he wondered where the heck he was and what could possibly be down here.

Walking down the hall slowly she made her way to the end which happened to just turn to the right. Pointing her lit wand she looked down the hall which seemed to be clear. Taking a step forward she stopped has she thought she heard something. Lowering her wand the light hit the floor to light up just the spot she was in. Listening hard in the silence she heard the something turning slowly. Panicking she back up until she was in the corner. "Nox" Hiding in the now dark corner she waited to see what the heck that was coming. Crouching down she had her knees bent just in case. Siva didn't know why she needed to be like think but she was prepared to run or hide further back into the darkness. Oooh. Umph! She let out a little yelp has she lost her balance and fell on her butt. Has she tried not the breath she waited to see if, whatever it was, even heard her.
