After a rather long day Siva was growing tired of the castle. She felt like she had hardly gotten out to enjoy the day. September, she thought, was a good month. It tended to be hot but the day would normally have a nice breeze to cool you down. She loved that. Dressed down from her school uniform Siva was in jeans and a t shirt. Making her way to the lake was easy. It was ten minutes until dinner time and most were studying in the common room. Soon she found herself at the entrance hall doors.
Has the fresh air hit her face she lit up. Sun shining on her face she made her way down the path to the lake. Even on the nice day there was hardly anyone out. This kind of bummed her out but she wasn't going to let that get her down. Keeping her spirits up she found the lake in no time. Frowning she realized that she could have gone for a swim. *DING!* With a new idea in mind she removed her shoes and socks and rolled up her jeans. Walking toward the water she got close enough to where the water line where the tide line was. Standing silence she felt the waves crash hat her feet has she went into deep thought mode. She missed Jay, her best friend. If he was he would have already talked her into some sort of mischief. A smile came to her lips has she could just imagine the trouble they would have gotten themselves into.

Jordan wasn't sure why he was here. He liked it here though. It was quite and peaceful. For the past thirty minutes or so he was sitting idle on the rocks that were at the edge of the lake. He had been staring out at the water just thinking letting his mind wander. He had been thinking about school for a moment but then his thoughts took him to how he got her to begin with. He was in the castle up in the dormitories. He was rarely bothered there but it could get a little stuffy in there. He needed the fresh air which brought him here to the lake. Looking around he saw that he was still alone which didn't really bother him but he wouldn't mind a little company every now and then. Jordan was a bit lonely at the moment.
Climbing down the rock he dusted his hand off on his jeans and made his way back to the castle only to find that someone else was also out here at the moment. He recognized here from potions class but he couldn't remember her name. He was has far away from the shore now and stood closer to were the grass met the dirt. Watching from a distance he was wondering whether to leave her be or go on and talk to her. Not wanting to do either he took a seat in the grass and hoped his nerves would calm a little. He didn't know why he got so nervous but he did and he needed the moment to just think.

Siva was not paying attention at all. She was relaxed and liked the warm water that was washing over her feet every couple of seconds. Knowing that she had to head back eventually she turned and walked over to her shoes. Grabbing the shoes she noticed the guy in the grass. She couldn't really tell who he was at the moment. In fact he looked like a blur. Not wanted to approach a total stranger she walked up the path but a little to the right has if she was going to walk away but she was really just waiting to get a better look at him. Soon she realized that it was the boy from potions. Good! not a TOTAL stranger. She knew his face at least but no name. Now she walked straight for him. "Hey." she smiled waving as she got closer. "Nice day isn't it?" smiling she took a seat next to him. "I remembered you from potions. Just figured I come and talk to you. Name is Siva." With her shoes next to her she got out her socks and began to slide them over her toes which were painted a bright pink. Stopping she realized that she didn't want soggy socks so she sat them back in the shoes for now.

Jordan had drifted off in thought and was imagined the thought of friends. He would like to have someone to talk to for a change and was really hoping that his nerves would settle. Snapping out of it he blinked has he heard Siva's voice. He shivered a little has she talked about seeing him in potions. Eyes straight ahead he listen but took a while to respond. His throat was dry and he had to clear his throat before thinking. "Names Jordan." he responded finally has he soothed his throat with he left hand. Looking up he admired the sky for a while. "Yeah it is a nice day." he agreed. With nothing really left to say he thought hard before saying, "Soooo.....how has the term been for you so far?" Jordan didn't always see Siva so he was assuming that she was in a different year. This was the first term that Hogwarts was open. He didn't know how long it had been closed but he knew it was more than a couple of years.

Smiling she was glad that he had accepted her company. She had been quite lonely since Jay wasn't around. It wasn't his fault though. She knew his parents were having a hard time with the current situation. The school had just reopened and trust had to be earned, right? "Nice to meet you Jordan." Looking out to the lake she nodded in agreement then looked back to him. He seemed nervous or maybe he was just busy with something in his mind. He did look deep in thought when she was walking over. Maybe he did want to be alone. But he began to talk some more so she relaxed. "So, far so good." In her mind she was thinking of all the things she could have done but hadn't. She really did miss her partner in crime. Well not crime, just rule breaking. "What would be awesome is if we did some brief exploring before dinner." she stated this knowing it was a risk. She knew nothing about him but the worst that could happen was a simple 'no' right?

Jordan was starting to calm down a bit. He could use a friend. So when she did mention the exploring he had to stop and think a minute. What kind did she mean? "What do you mean? Well not, what but where? Where would you want to explore?" he asked these question knowing that where ever they went he could possibly mean that the school rules would be broken. Some they could squirm their way out of but others not so much. But he had to admit he was very curious. He wanted to see different parts of Hogwarts just has bad has she did. But he did not want to go for the big parts, like the forest, just yet. He knew that it was dangerous and he would at least like to brush up on is defensive skills first, not that he knew much to be honest.
