After walking through the Leaky Cauldron Ruby walked out on the streets of Diagon Alley. She was planning on getting a pet from the store and thought that she would invite Jay. Looking around she waited for him in front of the store. For a minute she began to think of what she wanted but she was unsure at the moment. Sighing she looked around has she waited.

Jay dusted off his uniform has he made his way down diagon alley. Since he had arrived by floo powder he was covered in ashes. Dressed in skinny blue jeans and a black t-shirt with human skeleton on the front and back, he searched for the pet shop. He was glad that he had gotten a letter from Ruby yet a little nervous. He had no clue what he was going to say to her.
He played at scenario over and over in his head has he walked past people. Each and everyone was of him getting slapped and her crying. shaking his head he found himself coming to the pet store. Spotting Ruby he brushed his brown hair out of his face. Smiling a little he walked up to her. "Hey."

Ruby stood in front of the store, growing nervous has the time passed. Turning she saw him walking toward her has he brushed his hair out of his face. Instantly she noticed that he was covered in dust but she ignored that has he spoke. "Hey!" she smiled widely. "So, shall we go in?" she asked before turning to the door.
Walking to the door she opened it and walked in. Ruby scanned the room then walked over to where the cats were in cages. Turning back to Jay she asked, "How have you been?" Turning to a cage she looked at a black cat that was playing with a gray cat.

Jay nodded and followed Ruby into the shop. Looking around his mind was telling him to just tell her. Walking over to the cats with her he w as trying to think of how to say it. "I've been good." he quickly replied. "Um, we need to talk." he said quietly. "I don't think we should see each other...."
He felt like a jerk yet he knew he was doing the right thing. It was unfair to her to not be honest, right? He stood back has he waited for a reply hoping that there was some way to end this in a civil matter.

Ruby turned to Jay has he spoke. She moved a little closer has he was speaking quietly. Her heart stopped has he said that they should stop seeing each other. "What?" she said her voice sounding like it was breaking. "Why? What did I do?"

Jay stepped closer to Ruby so that only they could hear the conversation. He knew that it wasn't great to bring it up in public but the sooner the better. "No you didn't do anything." he reassured her. He took a deep breath before continuing. "I just don't think this can work." he said.

Ruby's eyes began to fill with tears. Soon they were streaming down her face. Wiping the right side of her face she spoke again, "Its Siva isn't it?" She knew it had to be her. She had to have done something. "I can't believe this is happening..." she said looked to th ground has she started crying again.
