Out on the Lake

Laila was bored. She'd finished all her classes and rather than returning to her dorm to study she decided she'd rather be outside in the sun. It was a cool afternoon but she enjoyed the little warmth the sun provided.
She walked around various trees and eventually arrived at the lake. Her mind was whizzing back to the day that her and Jordan had been in the lake and she smiled.
Laila let her legs collapse beneath her. She just wanted to sit and look out on the lake. She could hear birds chirping somewhere in the background and she saw a few fish jumping around in the water.
Laila closed her eyes and lay back. She wasn't asleep, just listening to the creatures that took refuge in the vast grounds.

[Siva Tucker]

Skipping across the lawn Sivee was quite happy with the day. It was nice and there wasn't much for her to do besides a little patrolling after curfew. Looking around she noticed Laila laying out on the ground. She couldn't tell if she was asleep or not but that didn't stop her from screaming. "Hey!" she said smiling. Stopping in her tracks she waited for a reply. She took a seat to start walking but ended up tripping and falling. Once she hit the ground she looked up to see if she saw, hopefully not. She laid there not really wanting to get up.

Laila opened her eyes and heard a loud a crash. She looked around and saw Siva lying on the ground, "Hey," she said smiling, "you alright?"

Siva looked to see Laila looking at her, darn! So, much for acting like it didn't happen. "Yeah, I'm fine." she said has she got up. Walking over to her she took a seat next to her. "Whew! How have you been?" she said has she wiped her face. She was pretty sure that he right side of her face was a bit red from hitting the ground.

"Uh, I've been pritty good actually! It's so great to be back at school," Laila fell quiet for a moment, "How about you?"

Siva smiled has she was glad that someone else was enjoying Hogwarts has much has herself. "I've been good has well, thank you. I love it here, its like....my home." she said all of this looking up at the sky. Looking back to Laila she spoke again, "How's Jordan? I haven't really seen him since last term."
