[Jordan Lane]

Hands stuffed into his pockets Jordan walked out on the school grounds. He wasn't really up for being inside at the moment. The day was nice, kind of sunny with a little wind. Has a sigh left his lips he made for the courtyard. It was one of his favorite places at Hogwarts. After this he where he finally asked Laila out.

Coming up on the bench where it all took place he took a seat. Looking around he noticed that there wasn't many people roaming the courtyard at the time. It would be dinner time soon but he wasn't really hungry at the moment. Looking up he stared at the clouds has they rolled by.

There was nothing Mimi could do inside the castle but go about exploring Sure, there was nothing wrong with that. Exploring around the castle is fun but in truth, Mimi is not so much into it right now. Maybe when she gets in the mood to go exploring would she go. There isn't anything wrong with that now, is there? Of course not.

The lake is one of the most beautiful places to be at the school, or at least to Mimi. Besides, there wasn't any other place she had been. There were a couple of places that she'd been told about to visit but like Mimi had said, she was not in any mood for it. There is no point going about places when she doesn't' feel like it.

The Slytherin girl however did not go to the lake, instead she had went to the courtyard, which is a nice place to. At some bench, a boy sat. Mimi couldn't tell how old the guy was or whether he was a new student at the school or not. People start out the school year at different ages so how is she suppose to know how old he was or what year he is in by just standing there?

The Slytherin advanced towards the boy and waved at him. "Hi" she told him. Although Mimi is a Slytherin she i somewhat nice to people. She could be mean but she's not. Most of the time she's just in her random mood self.

Jordan starred off at the sky has he was beginning to drown in his thoughts. He had grown a little nervous about his situation with Laila. He hadn't spoke to her in a long time and he was sure that she would probably want to break up with him. He sighed has he rubbed his eyes a little has he finally looked down.

Looking around him, he noticed that he was no longer alone. He watched has another girl waved at him. He waved back with a little smirk, "Hi." Jordan was trying to think if he had seen her but he was sure that he hadn't. "What brings you out here?" he spoke softly.

Mimi waited for the boys response. It could be the ignore-the-random-girl-that-just-waved-at-you or the what-the-heck-is-she-doing-saying-hi-to-me, or even just a wave back. Mimi didn't know the people at school and she didn't know how they would react if someone just came up to them and randomly say hi. Hopefully, the boy would be nice and not glare at her or something.

She was relief. Mimi was relief that the boy didn't just glare at him. At friendly person! "Hi" Mimi said again to him and looked around her. "Well, i was just...wondering around" Mimi asked him when he asked her what brought her there. Mimi didn't know exactly, only that she'd rather good there now instead of going to the lake. "Guess I'm just in the mood for it" she told him and smiled.

"What' brought you here?" Mimi asked him instead thinking of something to say. Usually Mimi has something to say; like something random but right now, she's not that hyper. If she was [really really hyper that is], the boy would think that she's crazy with her randomness.

"Nothing really. I just didn't want to be inside." he replied. "I'm Jordan." he said introducing himself. He was glad to finally have company and he got to meet someone new. Smiling back he stood up and stretched his legs. For some reason they felt like they were about to go to sleep. "So, are you new to the school? I've never seen you around." he stated.

Mimi nodded. She could kinda see why he didn't want to be inside. Mimi didn't feel like it either its just that she hadn't realized that until now. Plus, there was nothing fun to do inside the castle. The outside was better, at least right now.

"Im Mimi by the way" she told and smiled. A new person! Yay. "Erm...yesh. I'm new" she told him >_< "How long have you been to the school?" Mimi asked him in return. Of course from what he had said, she could guess that he has been at the school longer than her.

Mimi. Now that was an interesting name. A smile came from his lips has he decided that he liked that name. "Mimi....cool name. Is that your nickname?" he asked curious has to how she got the name.

Jordan thought for a minute has he stretched his arms out and swayed a little. "Uh, this is my fourth term here." he replied. "Do you like Hgwarts so far?" he asked. He could remember his first term here. He didn't really like it too much since he didn't know anyone but that was because he kept more to himself. Now that he knew his way around and had friends it was all good.

"So, Mimi would you like to roam the courtyard with me?" he asked inviting her. He had already grown a little tired of sitting on a bench at the moment.

Mimi smiled at Jordan and shook her head. "Nope. That's my full name" she told him not sure whether people in the school usually have long names. Or maybe she just have a weird name. Still...Mimi never thought that her name is strange. Maybe it is...maybe not.

"Oh..." she said to him. "Well, the school's been alright so far but I'm just starting and i probably need to go around the school" she told him. By 'going around the school' she means she needs to do more exploring. Maybe she could find secret passages or something.

"How's the school going for you?" Mimi asked him in return and looked around the courtyard. "Sure" she then answered him after a moment.
