May I Steal A Moment Of Your Time? [Jay]

[Ruby Harris]

Ruby sat in the empty compartment bored. She knew that Jay was a prefect this time round and hoped that he would stop by. She had sent him and owl earlier that day about riding together. She was kind of bummed out about not spending a lot of time together in Hogsmeade. Looking out of the window she saw that the train was already in the countryside. Sighing she sat back and waited.

[Jay Rose]

Prefect badge over his uniform Jay walked down the isle of the train looking through the windows. This was very boring but he knew at some point that he would bump into Ruby, which did keep his spirits up. Walking up to a compartment Jay saw Ruby sitting alone. Pulling the door open he walked in, "Looking for someone?" he joked.

[Ruby Harris]

Ruby turned when she heard someone speak. "Jay!" she said, before giggling at his joke. Getting up she pulled him into a hug, "How have you been?" she asked. Arms wrapped around his shoulders she stood back and waited for an answer.

[Jay Rose]

After hugging her he sighed has he pulled away. "It was good time." he smiled. Pointing to the seats he took one closest to the door. Once Ruby took a seat he wrapped his arm around her. "And how have you been?"

[Ruby Harris]

Taking a seat next to him Ruby rested her head on his shoulders. She was trying her best not to blush but he always made her smile. Which made her feel a bit embarrassed. "My break was great, thank you. There was only one downside." she said. Sitting up she turned to him to look him in the eyes. "I really missed you. I know we got to see each other in Hogsmeade but...it just wasn't enough."

[Jay Rose]

Jay looked down at Ruby with a smile. "Well if it helps, I missed you too." he said before kissing her forehead. "So what did you do over the break?"

[Ruby Harris]

"I just stayed with my parents. Really boring actually." she answered the question looking up at Jay. Her face was still a little red from when he kissed her on the head. "And what about you. What did you do?"

[Jay Rose]

"I was with my parents has well. Got to see my grandparents has well. Other than that I just hanged out with Siva most of the time." Jay talked at he looked down at her then back to the window. It was a little darker now and even though he should be patrolling. But he was comfortable and didn't feel like getting up. Sighing he sat easy not really knowing what to say.

[Ruby Harris]

"You hung out with Siva? How is she?" she asked. Ruby was curious of course since she thought she was her competition. She liked Jay a lot and would hate to lose him, and their note even official. "What do you guys do on the breaks?" she asked trying not to sound suspicious.

[Jay Rose]

"She's fine, she was made prefect has well." he answered. "We just talk, listen to music, and random games to help pass the time." he spoke about thins having no idea why she cared. Maybe she just wanted to get along with her better.

[Ruby Harris]

Ruby listened to Jay has he spoke. Ok, so nothing really sounded suspicious. Sitting back she sighed has she didn't know what to say.

[Jay Rose]

Jay looked at his watch then sighed. "Hate to say this but I have to go." he said this has he sat up for a moment. "But, I did have a question for you." he cleared his throat has he tried not to show that he was nervous. "I was wondering if.....you would be my girlfriend?"

[Ruby Harris]

Ruby sat up, disappointed that this all had to end so soon. Looking down at her hands she listened has Jay asked her a question. For a minute she couldn't believe what she heard. Looking shocked she turned to him, "Really?" she questioned. Then taking a deep breath she blurted out, "Yes." Beaming she sat there feeling like she was about to cry.

[Jay Rose]

Looking down at the ground he waited for an answer. He chuckled uneasy when she questioned it. Keeping his head down he looked up with his eyes right has she said yes. Smiling he gave her a kiss on the cheek. "So, I guess I'll see you later?" he asked before leaving.

[Ruby Harris]

"Yeah." she replied has she watched him leave. Grinning she plopped down in her seat. Next thing she was blushing a giggling still shocked at what had just happened.
