Laila dragged her luggage through the muggle train station and through Platform 9 and 3/4. She noticed that not many students had arrived yet, so she took the chance to choose a compartment in the very last carriage. She took a seat in the corner, next to the window and looked out at the few families bidding their children farewell.
She was sad because she didn't have a family of her own to see her off but she was extremely excited about going back to school. She was glad she'd become friends with Ruby because apart from Jordan she didn't really have any other friends, let alone know anyone in her own year.
There was one other thing that Laila wanted to go back to school for. She really wanted to see Jordan. They hadn't spoken in such a long time. She hoped he would come soon.

Jordan walked past the few students to get to the train. This time his parents didn't even bother to help him to the platform. Walking through he carried his bags to the train then boarded to look Laila. He felt really guilty about not really keeping in contact but, it wasn't his fault. He was stuck visiting other family members because his mother thought it was the right thing for him to do.
Walking down the long isle he looked through all the compartments. He started to think that she hadn't arrived yet. He reached the end to find Laila sitting on her own. Smiling he opened the door. "Hey." he said softly. "How have you been?" he asked taking a seat next to her. Leaning in he gave her a kiss on the lips.

Laila was slightly taken back by the sudden appearance of Jordan but beamed when he kissed her. She pulled away and smiled, "Hey," she murmured, leaning in and kissing him again. When she finally pulled away she leant against Jordan and looked up at him. "I've been okay," she said, closing her eyes to listen to the beat of Jordan's heart, "I've missed you," she said quietly, "So what'd you get up to?"

Jordan couldn't help but grin after she kissed him. Sitting back with is hands to his sides, he looked down at her leaning on his chest. "I missed you, too." he said softly. His heart began to beat fast has he was a bit nervous but soon he was breathing easy. "I was stuck visiting relatives. It was ok I guess. What did you do?"

Laila half shrugged. "Not much, really," she said. She fell quiet for a moment, listening to silence. After a while she opened her eyes, suddenly remembering something. "You never told me you got into a fight with Seth," she said, "What happened? Are you okay?"

Relaxing in his seat he looked out the window. He noticed more people coming into the station and loading their things. He looked back to Laila when she spoke. Jordan never wanted to talk about what happened but he couldn't leave her out. "Yeah, it kind of happened at the end of the term. He accused me of hitting of Siva." has he replied he looked around the compartment.
"He asked me to stay away from her too. Its all because of the trip to Hogsmeade." he confessed. "We went to the shrieking shack, well she asked me to meet her there. All we did was talk." sighing he tried his best to remember everything. He didn't want to leave any details out. "Anyways, he...we had word and then I kind of punched him..."

A look of worry crossed Laila's face. She didn't believe Seth when he'd said Jordan had hit on Siva. And she deffinitely believed Jordan when he said it, but she struggled with herself to surpress her feelings of jealousy. "...And how come you didn't tell me?" she sounded slightly upset but let the sadness wash over her. She was, after all, seeing Jordan for the first time in weeks.

Jordan sighed, "I don't know. I don't really like fighting...guess I just didn't want to admit it." Looking down at Laila he hoped that she could forgive him. "I'm sorry. Forgive me?" he asked. Sitting up he moved his one arm so that he could wrap in around her.

Laila sighed, "Of course I forgive you!" Suddenly Laila remembered something. She reached into the small bag she'd carried onto the train and pulled out a box of chocolates. "Here," she said, passing them over to Jordan, "I thought you might like these."

Jordan smiled has he looked to the window of the compartment to see others walking by. Soon the train would be leaving the station. Looking back to Laila he came face to face with a box of chocolates. He smiled has he was always a sucker for chocolate and lollies. But he always keep the lollies part to himself. "Thanks." he said taking the box.
Opening it immediately he took a piece and popped it in his mouth. He moved the box so that he was offering Laila one. While he waited he chewed on his piece happily.

Laila smiled; she was glad that he liked them. She picked up a piece and placed it in her mouth, letting it melt on her tongue. She loved chocolate. Laila didn't know what to say, she just wanted to lay there in Jordan's arms forever.

Sitting the box down next to him, Jordan sat back with Laila in his arms. Suddenly the train jerked has they were finally leaving. Flinching just a little he tried not to look too uncomfortable. Four years and he still hated this part of the trip. He sat up a little looking to the window he pretended to look out of it but it was only until the train really got going. He wasn't going to relax until the ride smoothed out a little.

Laila, remembering that Jordan didn't like the train rides all that much, held his hand and squeezed it gently, "It'll be alright," she said, "just try not to think about it."

Jordan nodded and took a deep breath. Closing his eyes he held on to her hand. Has the train ride smoothed out he opened his eyes looking down at Laila. Smiling he took one hand and ran it over her hair, then kissed her. Pulling away so that his forehead was pressed against hers he said, "Thank you."

Laila smiled and rubbed her nose against his, "Any time," she said, leaning in and kissing him again.
