Jay walked out of the great hall after having a early breakfast. His mind was still filled of thoughts from the other night at the feast. He hadn't talked to Siva since and really could careless about her at the time. Well, not really, he cared for her a lot. He just hated the guy she was seeing. Why him? He was a jerk, anyone could see that, why couldn't she see that? He approached the stairs just has it was moving. He stood there and sighed has he waited from them to stop.

Siva had just came from the library when she was walking to the great hall for breakfast. When she arrived outside the doors she saw Jay heading for the stairs. She ran after him screaming his name, "Jay!" Once she caught up with him she took a minute to think of what to say. "Why won't you talk to me?" she asked finally.

Jay hoped that by this time the stairs where done moving Must have been fate though, she had caught up with him and asked him a question. He stood facing the steps not wanting to answer. "I've been busy." he replied turning to her.

Siva was glad that Jay had finally talked to her. She only wished that it wasn't in that tone. "Busy? Please! No you haven't." she responded. She walked up to him touching his arm, "Really why haven't you spoken to me?" she asked again. "Is it because of Seth?"

Jay backed up and removed Siva's hand when she touched him. Yes, it was true he hadn't been busy. And she knew exactly what was bothering. "Yes, its Seth." he answered rudely. "I don't like him at all. So, I guess your going to have to choose."

Siva was quite shocked at his reaction. He was never the one to never want to be around her because of someone else. And she could have sworn that he was ok with Seth. She could feel her heart being torn has she looked into his eyes, he was dead serious. "You want me to choose?" she questioned has she choked on the last word. There was a long pause has she looked away with tears falling down her eyes. "What if I don't want to choose?"

For a moment he considered changing his mind. Walking up to her he wiped her tears off her face. This was the first time he had made her cry, he felt terrible. "Then I guess I have my answer." he replied. He turned to walk away, up the steps. The stairs started to move has he climbed them.

Siva looking into his eyes has more tear fell down her face. She couldn't believe this, "Jay!" she screamed out has he left. She began to walk up the has they stopped. She stopped halfway up, "Please don't do this..."

Jay kept walking not saying a word. He could fell his throat straining has he fought hard to say anything. Clearing his throat he stepped onto another set of steps that started to move.

Siva stopped has if she was stuck watching him walk away. She turned around and sat on the steps has tears filled her eyes. Leaning against the rails she cried.
