Finally the day had arrived. It was time to go back to Hogwarts for another term. He walked quickly down the walkway to platform 9 3/4. He was earlier than he normally goes to the train, probably because there was less muggles around. Has his family pretended to be waiting for a train he said goodbye to his parents. After hugging his mom, he took his belongs and ran through to the other side.
He was quite surprised that others were there. Well, it was a lot more than he expected. Has he made his way through the crowd he went to put his luggage on the train. Has he walked through he thought about last term when he bumped into Laila. He hoped that he would see her since he hadn't seen her in a while.

Once her parents left her there at the station she went to put her things on the train. She hated this feeling of being alone. All the people around her were happy taking to others they already knew. Without paying attention to what she was doing she ran into someone who looked older that she was. "Sorry!" she said quickly backing away.

Jordan began to walk away when he almost was knocked over. "Sorry." he apologized at the same time as the girl. He turned to see someone younger then himself. Having no idea what do say he kind of just stared at her for a while. "Here let me help you." he said taking her bags to put on the train. Turning back to her he asked, "What to sit with me on the train?"

Aaliyah was taken back by his actions. He was so nice to her. "Thanks." she smiled has he put her bags on the train. Then he asked her to sit with him. "Ok." she shrugged waiting for him to lead the way.

"Ok." Jordan replied giving her a small smile. It was obvious that she wasn't used to this, must be a first year. He lead the way to the train making sure that she was still behind him. Once he found an empty compartment he walked in and took a seat next to the window. He took a deep breath has he settled in. "Oh, by the way I'm Jordan Lane."

Aaliyah followed him onto the train walking in the compartment. Shutting the door behind her she took a seat across from him. "I'm Aaliyah Morris. Nice to met you." she said smiling. She honestly thought that it would be a horrible first time on the train but so far so good. "How long have you been at Hogwarts?" she asked trying to make conversation.

"This is my third year here." he replied. He glanced out the window has the parents began to wave. Then the train jerked has it began to leave the station. Jordan cringed has he sat back like his back was stiff. He hated this part, he never did get use to the train ride over.

Aaliyah glanced out the window has well seeing all the parents wave goodbye. She jumped when the train moved, then sat back. It was then she noticed Jordan, "Are you ok?" she asked. She leaned forward waiting for an answer with a worried look on her face.

Has the ride smoothed out a little he relaxed. "Yeah, I'm fine." he replied. "Never really got used to the train ride." he explained. "Sorry didn't mean to scare you."

Aaliyah sat back once she heard that he was ok. She never realized that someone could be uncomfortable on a train ride. After all the train was on the ground and on tracks. She smiled has she relaxed, now she had nothng to say.
