[Ruby Harris]

It was Saturday and there was nothing left to do. Ruby walked around on the fourth floor with some books in her hands. She just noticed that she had never been down this hallway before. To her right she saw a door that seemed to have just appeared. She walked over and opened the door and walked in. It was a room that looked like a common room except there wasn't any dormitories. The room looked fairly new, has if it had just been built and it was clean. She took a seat on one of the couches and relaxed for a bit. She took one of her books and began to read.

[Jay Rose]

Jay was wondering the halls of Hogwarts when he noticed Ruby walk by and down another corridor. This was the first time that he saw her in a while. He followed her has she walked into a room. He had never been down here has well so he was quite confused. He followed her into the room looking around amazed at the fact that he had been here four years without noticing. "Hey Ruby..." he said has his eyes wondered around the room. He looked at her has he took a seat next to her on the couch.

[Ruby Harris]

Ruby jumped when she heard Jay's voice. Inhaling very slowly then exhaling she sat her book down. "Hi Jay." she smiled. "So...uh...how have you been?" she asked trying to recovering from being scared to death.

[Jay Rose]

Jay laughed a bit at Ruby's reaction. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you." He took a seat next to Ruby before speaking. "I've been ok......I guess." he replied shrugging. He was still ticked about the whole Siva situation. "And how have been?"

[Ruby Harris]

"I've been good." she said quickly. "Are you sure your ok?" she asked. "You just seem a little.....rattled.....I guess." she shrugged. Jay definitely didn't seem like him self.

[Jay Rose]

Jay took a deep breath. "Well, Siva told me at the feast at the being of the term that she had a...boyfriend." he said quietly. "Not that its a bad thing....I just don't like who it is." he confessed.

[Ruby Harris]

Ruby scooted over closer to him has he talked. "Oh, I'm sorry." she replied. She put her hand on his back and began to rub his back. "So, your not speaking, huh?" she questioned. "Don't worry I'm sure you'll work it out. Or at least find someone else." she said unsure that it was a good thing. Maybe he would choose her, after all she didn't have anyone either. She looked at him waiting for a reply.

[Jay Rose]

Jay nodded, no when she asked about them speaking. Find someone else? He turned to her looking at her. He just noticed that she had moved closer to him. Without even thinking he leaned in and kissed her on the lips.

[Ruby Harris]

Ruby smiled back at him waiting for a reply. Only he didn't, she had no clue what to do when he leaned in. Has he pressed his lips against hers she closed her eyes, that was nice. Really nice. She pulled away slowly a bit shocked. She looked at him trying to think of something to say but, there wasn't any words.

Once he pulled away he realized what he had done. He too had no words. Instead he just got up and left the room. He needed to breath and think, most importantly breath!

Ruby was heart broken when she saw jay leave so quickly. What happened? She turned so that she was straight on the couch looking across the room. She sat forward with her elbows on her knees wondering, what and why.
