Beginning of Term Feast *everyone*

[Siva Tucker]

Siva squealed has she felt someone poke her sides. Sivee-poo? She turned to see Jay has he took a seat next to her. "Hey!...Jay...I'll think of a nickname later." she said has she shrugged. Unfortunately she wasn't has clever with names like he was. This nickname was going to take some serious thinking. "So.." she smiled has she poked him, "How have you been?"

[Professor Sara Jade]

Sara had lead the new students up from the boats and to the stairs. She waited has they gathered at the steps before leaving them for a brief moment. She walked down the middle isle up to the staff table where the Headmistress was sitting. "Everything is ready." she smiled taking to her. She stood waiting for a reply.

[Jay Rose]

Jay jumped a little when he was poked. For a guy he was surprisingly very ticklish. "I've been ok. It would have been better if I'd seen a certain someone." he teased.

Jordan held her hand has he flung his hair out of his face. He noticed Ruby walking in and looking at them. He rolled his eyes, he was glad that she hadn't come and sat near them. Maybe their little talk worked after all.

Laila saw Ruby walk in and take a seat near them. She also noticed Jordan rolling his eyes at her and she raised an eyebrow, "Something happen between you two?" she ask.

Jordan didn't know how to tell her, not that there was anything to tell. "I guess you could say that." he replied looking down at the table. "I just saw her at Hogsmeade over the break. She just kept hitting on me..." he voice trailed off has he thought back to that day. "So I told her that we're together...." he said looking at her. "And to never talk to me again." he mumbled.

"Oh, ok. Yeah, she seemed a little pissed that we'd gotten together." Laila shrugged.

[Jordan Lane]

"Oh, so you knew?" he asked kind of surprised. "So, you told her about us?"

"Yeah. That day after we were in the lake. We had a small fight about it." Laila glanced at Ruby, "But it was nothing."

[Siva Tucker]

Siva smiled has Jay teased her. "Its not my fault. We went to visit other relatives." she explained. "And...." she started feeling nervous. "Before we left for break....Seth asked me out. And I said yes." she informed. She really wanted to know what Jay had to say, his opinion did matter to her.

[Professor Aurora Davis]

"Alright then. Bring them in." I replied with a nod. Has Sara walked away I got up from my seat and approached the podium. I watched has the first years filed in behind Professor Jade. Once they were standing at the front of the hall I began my speech. "Welcome to term 7 at Hogwarts!" I started beaming. "Hopefully you all are excited about this term as much has I am. Now before the sorting I have a few announcements." I looked around at the hall with a very serious voice.

"As most of you know the forbidden forest is just that, forbidden! Any students caught in the forest will be punished. We ask you stay out only because we think of your safety. You have been warned!" I said firmly. A smile came across my face when I announced, "And now for the sorting!" I turned at took my seat at the table and waited for Sara to begin the sorting.

"I hope this doesn't take too long," Laila said, "I'm starving." She snuggled close to Jordan and turned her eyes on the nervous first years.

[Professor Sara Jade]

Sara nodded and with her instructions she went to the back of the hall to get the new students. I opened the door to see the students standing around. "If I can have you attention." she started getting their attention. "In a few moment you will enter the great hall and be sorted in one of four houses. They are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Follow me." she smiled turning around and walking into the now full hall.

Once she got to the front she signaled for the students to stand around in the front and pay attention. She stood watching the Headmistress give her speech. Once she was done she walked up to the stool that sat in the center in front of the podium. Sara picked up the hat that sat on the stool and turned to the first years. "When I call your name please step forward and sit on the stool. I'll place the hat on your head and you will be sorted. Once you are please be seated at you house table." she smiled softly hoping that she wasn't making the students nervous.

Once the sorting was down she took the stool and hat setting them aside. Then she too her seat at the staff table.

[Professor Aurora Davis]

Once the sorting was done and the student took their seats at the proper table I walked up to the podium. "Now, let the feast begin!" I said smiling. I could tell that some of the students were hungry and couldn't wait to eat. Once I said the words the tables were filled with all kinds of food. There was something for everyone. Then came all of the Hogwarts ghost floating around their house tables. I took my seat back at the staff table and watched has people began to eat before putting food on my plate.

[Isis Morris]

Aaliyah was quite nervous about the sorting. She walked in the great hall along with the others and stood at the front and listened to the Headmistress's speech. Once her named was called she stepped up to the front and sat on the stool. Once it yelled Gryffindor she smiled and ran to the Gryffindor table.

Jordan grinned has Laila snuggled close to him. He could feel his heart racing has he tried not to shake his leg from being nervous. "Me too." he replied has he looked at the first years has well. Once the speech and sorting was over with he looked down at the table. It was now filled with food, he thought of what he would like first before getting anything.
