"No it doesn't sound silly. Just very likely." he laughed. "I think everyone has butterflies in their stomach when using their wand for the first time." he explained. "Although I was most nervous about Defense Against the Dark Arts." The train jerked has it took off. Jordan took a deep breath has he leaned back in his seat, he never really liked the train ride. He tried his very best not to look too uncomfortable.

"I'm actually looking forward to trying Defence Against the Dark Arts. Although, learning the Dark Arts would be so much more fun." As the train left the station it jerked and it seemed to Laila that Jordan wasn't as comfortable as he looked. "Is there something bothering you?"

Jordan frowned has his attempt to look normal failed. He took a minute to think of anything he could say instead of what was true but he gave up on that soon. "I, uh, I just don't like train rides. Its the jerking." he explained. Normally when the train first takes off it jerks a lot. Once the train was away from the platform the ride became a lot smoother. He took a deep breath has he tried to relax.

Jordan thought back to his first year and tried to think of how long it took. To him it took forever. "It took a few hours....I think" he replied. He began to feel a bit more relaxed has the train wasn't really jerking any more.

"Okay," Laila nodded and watched as Jordan relaxed a little. Laila pulled out one of her muggle books To Kill a Mocking Bird and opened up to chapter three where she started to read.

“Dad, please stop hugging me.” Mr. Grover let go of his son. “You remembered everything right? Have your wand? Do you remember not to go wandering around the dark arts?” “Dad I remember.” Sean was in front of the Hogwarts Express waiting for his dad to let him go on the bus. “Dad, I remember.” Sean did one final hug and said goodbye. Sean went on the train eagerly wondering what he was going to do in his 1st year. He looked through all the compartment windows wondering if there was a empty compartment.
He had reached the end of the bus and there was still no empty compartment. He looked again and found a compartment with 2 nice looking people. He knocked on the compartment door wondering if they would let him get in to the compartment.

Jordan took a deep breath then looked over at the compartment door. He noticed this guy standing at the door. He got up and opened the door to let him in. He of course assumed that he wanted to be let in.

The door had slid opened and he smiled at him. "Sorry for interupting you but there aren't any more seats so I thought I could be let in here. If I interupted something important I can leave."

Laila looked up from her book, "Oh no, we were just discussing classes." Laila smiled at the boy, "I'm Laila and this is Jordan."

Jordan sat back don in his seat. He nodded has Laila introduced him. He waited for him to walk in and get comfy before saying anything else.

Once Sean took his seat there was this kind of weird silence between the three of them. It was has if no one had anything to say. "So, is this your first year Sean?" he asked trying to get rid of the silence that had just filled the compartment.

Amy searched around frantically for a seat, but every compartment was already full, or even busting with people. She sighed as she opened the door to where the two boys and the girl sat. "Mind if I stay here?" Amy questioned, "all the other compartments are full."[/font]

Laila looked up at the girl who burst into the compartment, "No problem," Laila said as she moved her things so that the girl could sit. Laila, Sean and Jordan. Laila pointed to each of the students in the compartment as settled back in the corner of her seat.
